Charity to raise awareness of money worries and help people tackle them with a social media campaign, supported by a grant from Loqbox.

Bristol, UK. 23 July 2025: Loqbox, the UK’s leading credit-building and financial wellbeing platform, is proud to team up with Citizens Advice, the country’s largest provider of free, independent, and confidential advice.

Citizens Advice supports millions of people every year with a broad range of problems, including financial struggles like debt, household bills and living costs.  Loqbox, meanwhile, empowers consumers to build credit histories, improve money habits and grow savings – using behaviourally informed digital tools that improve long-term financial resilience.

With Loqbox’s support, the charity will deliver a new social media campaign that aims to help people improve their financial literacy and understanding of credit, and open up conversations to demystify money.

Dani Palmer, Chief Marketing Officer at Loqbox, said: “Money worries affect every part of people’s lives – from their sleep and self-esteem to their relationships and future plans. But too often, people suffer in silence, feeling stuck, ashamed or unsure of where to turn.

“Citizens Advice is one of the most trusted organisations in the UK, with a deep understanding of the challenges people face – often before anyone else. By working together, we want to get to the heart of what’s stopping people from feeling in control of their finances, and use those insights to offer better support, earlier on.

“Loqbox’s aim is to prevent financial crises before they start – giving people the tools, confidence and support they need to take control before things become overwhelming.”

This collaboration will focus on two core areas:

  1. Insight sharing: Sharing information, insights and resources to better understand the emotional and behavioural barriers to financial wellbeing.
  2. Awareness: Raising public understanding of available support options before problems spiral, especially for financially vulnerable groups.

Louise Kelly, Interim Head of Fundraising at Citizens Advice, commented: “We see first hand how closely money troubles are tied to health, housing, work and relationships. This support will allow us to deepen our understanding of the financial difficulties people experience and explore new ways to respond to them."
